Affiliated Staff

We have a wide range of multi-disciplinary staff working closely alongside the Practice.

District Nurses:

The District Nurses are a dedicated team providing skilled nursing care to truly housebound patients.  They assess the health and health-related needs of patients and their supportive networks, and work closely alongside other members of the primary health care team to provide effective care.

Community Matrons:
Clare Wright and Helen Beswick are both highly experienced nurses employed by Bristol Community Health. Their roles are to manage elderly patients with complex medical problems, enabling them to remain at home wherever possible.

Midwives:

The Midwives are based at Hampton House in Cotham and care for all mothers during pregnancy and after birth, and provide a home birth service.

Health Visitors:

The health visiting team is also based at Hampton House, and comprises Health Visitors and Nursery Nurses, working to meet the needs of pre-school children and their parents. They are the first port of call for advice on feeding and sleep issues and can be contacted directly.
