Diabetes
The Practice has a pro-active nurse-led approach
to diabetes care, with GP support as required.
The care is co-ordinated by our Diabetes Nurse,
Sister Lynn Wrathall, and patients are regularly
invited to the Practice for blood tests, checks
and discussion about the management of any
aspects of their diabetes. We have good links
with primary and secondary specialists,
community dieticians, and the Retinal Screening
Service, who provide additional support as
required.
