Monitoring
This is a blood test necessary to
ascertain patients are taking the
correct dose of anti-coagulant drugs
(usually warfarin).
For all patients able to come to the
Practice, we now offer an in-house
service for this test. All that is
required is a small drop of blood
obtained from a finger prick. The result
is known within a minute and the patient
will be given a printed sheet with the
dose regime and the date of the next
test on it to take away.
