I need an urgent appointment

If you have an urgent medical problem and need to be seen on the same day, please phone the Practice and speak to a Receptionist who will find you an appropriate appointment or arrange a telephone call with a member of the Clinical Team. We run an Open Surgery each weekday morning 08.30 to 11:00 for problems that will not wait until the next routine appointment.

After this time, the Duty Doctor will call you back to assess the urgency of your request, and decide with you if you need to be seen. We have found that many simple cases can be dealt with over the phone.

We would politely request that you telephone us first before coming to the Practice as we cannot guarantee that a Doctor will be on the premises, and you may have a long wait.
