Spring Covid Vaccination Programme

The Spring Covid Booster campaign for 2024 starts on Monday 15th April 2024, prioritising Care Home residents and Housebound patients, and ends on 30th June 2024. 

Only those over 75 or who are immunosuppressed qualify for a Spring Booster, as recommended by the JCVI. Anyone else should have enough immunity from the Autumn 2023 booster to take them through to the Autumn 2024 campaign. 

Our PCN, Healthwest, are running clinics for adult vaccinations only, details of which are provided below. All eligible patients will be sent an invite by the end of April. Anyone under 18 who requires a vaccine will need to book via the National Booking System (see below).

Parking

There is on-street parking available, limited parking at Whiteladies Medical Centre and paid parking available at Clifton Down Shopping Centre. 

Vaccination Clinic Dates

The clinic sessions are: 

• Saturday 11th May 2024
  • 8:30am to 12:30pm
  • 1pm to 5pm

• Saturday 18th May 2024
  • 8:30am to 12:30pm
  • 1pm to 5pm

There is no alternative to an mRNA vaccine for this campaign. If you feel that you shouldn't have an mRNA for medical reasons, e.g. PEG allergies, you are advised to speak to your GP to discuss the risks of having the vaccine vs the risks of remaining unvaccinated.

Anyone under 18 who requires a vaccine will need to book via the National Booking Service website or call 119 if you are unable to book online.
