Salary circa: £19,500 (pro-rate for part-time)

We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and solution-focused person to help support Healthwest with its IT systems and processes. For the successful candidate, it is an opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills, and to become a key member of our cross-practice IT team.

Prior knowledge of specific IT systems is not a requirement but an interest in working within a primary healthcare setting is essential. This evolving role will be both varied and challenging; from managing daily audits and reports, IT troubleshooting and supporting staff, to assisting with embedding innovative new IT systems for the practices and their patients.

Patient Coordinator                                                                                                

Job title: Patient Coordinator

Reporting to: Reception Team Leader

Accountable to: Operations Manager

Hours per week: 29.5 hours per week including alternate Saturday mornings

Job Summary

To provide a high standard of service, to assist patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional within the Practice. To work as a member of the Reception Team to ensure the smooth running of Reception, whilst taking a proactive role in maintaining an efficient and effective service to all patients. To act as a central point of communication and liaison, with other members of the Practice team.  To ensure administrative and clerical duties within the Practice are carried out in line with Practice guidelines and policies.  The post-holder will work closely, and under the direction of the Management Team to improve standards across a wide range of administrative activity.
